The hosts will welcome you into their historic 18th century Château and lead a personal tour of their ancestral home, which includes the magnificent Colbert library. The candlelit, gourmet dinner will take place in the formal dinning room and will be prepared by a renowned Parisian chef.

Pick up Skills from a French Gourmet Chef
Meet the English-speaking Chef and your private driver in the morning.  The Chef will accompany you to a Parisian open market to discover the distinctive varieties of French produce and select the local ingredients for the Cooking Class.  In a private, typically Parisian apartment, prepare a three-course meal under his expert guidance.  During an informal lunch, while enjoying in the fruits of your labour, the Chef will introduce you to the wines best suited to the meal.

The discover Paris of the Great Operas
Accompanied by a private specialist guide (and by music!) spend an afternoon following the footsteps of Mimi in Puccini’s La Bohème through the Latin Quarter of the 1830’s, or those of Violetta in La Traviata on the Right Bank. 
Stop at the Musée de la Vie Romantique, where the 19th century intellectual and artistic elite of Paris gathered.  Visit the Garnier Opera House - its magnificent interiors, including Marc Chagall’s ceiling in the Italian-style Auditorium, are renowned all over the world. 
Have tea at the Procope, the very first Parisian café. 

The afternoon concludes with an exceptional glimpse into the workshop of a renowned string instrument maker on Rue de Rome - an intimate port of call for international soloists. 

Taste Life in a Norman Castle
Spend two enchanting nights at a medieval Norman Castle, an ancestral home of a renowned French family since the 18th century.
Choose from a number of activities on the grounds of the Castle: horseback riding; market tour & cooking class with the Chef; visit to the working farm of the Castle, or horse-drawn carriage tour of the park and the village. 
In the afternoon visit the Château de Balleroy or the celebrated gardens of the Château de Brécy. 
The following day drive up the beautiful Norman coast for lunch at the fashionable seaport of Honfleur. 
Finally, on your way back to Paris, stop at the fabulous Château du Champs de Bataille to visit its remarkable interiors and gardens recently restored by the world-class designer Jacques Garcia.
